GIVING BACK to vision research, a cause very important to me.
​
I have also decided to combine my passion for photography and my willingness to contribute to vision research. Photography took on a different meaning for me by simply enjoying the fact of seeing. As a patient in Ophthalmology, I am giving back to Fighting Blindness Canada. My wish is to promote public awareness and early detection of retinal diseases.
Giving back to the cause
Fighting Blindness Canada is the leading charity funder of vision research in Canada.
They offer hope to Canadians by identifying the most promising research that is driving treatments and cures for blinding eye diseases. They are raising and stewarding funds to support this essential, sight-saving research.

Over 45-year history, they have contributed over $40 million to support vision research and education across Canada: that’s over 200 research grants that have led to over 600 new discoveries in areas such as stem cell research, neuroprotective therapies, technological developments, pharmaceuticals, and gene therapies.
